Parallax error: I was trying to circle the word "commits" during lecture, but er... I don't know what happened. Sigh.




Yah lah, being geeky in the library again. Topics for my second Philosophy essay are out mah. I thought no one was around but after I took a few shots this guy suddenly appeared from behind. OOPS. Anyway the frosted glass says "Let him who reads, reflect" which is wrong. I don't see why there should be a comma and no full stop. Okay, if they want the comma, it should be "Let him, who reads, reflect." Otherwise just no comma seems fine to me too: "Let him who reads reflect FULL STOP!"

Something to know about E4 lab...

This is the corridor leading to the E4 labs. There's a lot of construction work surrounding it, and for whatever reason, they locked up the glass door on the right. I've watched many people ram into the locked door (okay, fine, I did too, errrggh), and was wondering why there was no warning sign.




On closer inspection, however, I saw a small piece of masking tape on the door (circled in red).




On even closer inspection, I realised that the word "STOP" was written on it.




Can't see it? Neither can anyone else! It's written in like, 0.2 pencil! HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO HELP ANYONE? Sigh. Maybe one day I will just take out my red marker and write over the pencil lines. (Or just laugh at all the other people who will keep ramming into the door... :p)

We went to look at the FYP posters today... Quite a good lesson in what not to do. Like, DO NOT use black words on dark purple background; DO NOT put flowcharts when the words are too blurred to be read.

But this was very... erm, cute. See if you can tell what is wrong! :p




Bought this bottle of water from the vending machine -- OXYGENATED some more!



Xueli: "What is that supposed to mean?? Does this mean that you will BURP after drinking it?? WAHAHAHAHA!!!"
